League rules
The rules the website actually enforces.
Rosters
- Each fantasy team carries exactly 8 drivers for a valid race lineup.
- There are unlimited moves and no waivers.
- If a team drops a driver, that same team cannot pick the driver back up until after the next race is completed. Other teams may pick up the dropped driver immediately.
- Moves lock when the real Cup race begins, based on the persisted live race state.
- A driver counts against your cap at the market value you paid when acquired. That acquisition value stays locked until the driver is dropped.
- Later market-value increases do not make an existing roster illegal. The cap is enforced when adding/picking up a driver.
- If a real driver misses a race, there is no special replacement or adjustment.
Chase scoring
- At Stage 1, fantasy teams are ranked by raw fantasy score. The top 10 receive 10 through 1 Chase points.
- Stage 2 is scored the same way: 10 through 1.
- At the finish, fantasy teams are ranked again. First receives 55, second 35, third 34, then one fewer point per position.
- The weekly maximum is 75 Chase points.
- Ties in raw fantasy score are broken by the highest-finishing real driver on each roster, then the next-highest, continuing through all eight drivers.
- No Chase eliminations are currently enabled.
Raw fantasy score
Each fantasy team's checkpoint score is the sum of the NASCAR-style points earned by the eight drivers in its immutable race-start roster. Stage checkpoints use projected finish points from the running order plus stage points earned through that checkpoint. The final uses actual finish points, both stage results and the configured fastest-lap bonus.
The raw score ranks fantasy teams; the Chase points above are what count in the RBRL standings.
Driver market values
Weekly values are generated deterministically from season performance, recent five-race form and two-race momentum. Manual/status adjustment is disabled by default. The generator applies salary bands, movement limits and deterministic normalization so the eligible driver pool publishes at exactly $40,000,000.
